Banana Nut Porridge

Here's a great change up for breakfast when eggs are getting old.  My kiddos are not a fan of this, but I like it.  It is not very sweet, but I find it satisfying.  The recipe says it makes 4 servings.  Realistically it is more like 2 hearty adult portions.  I topped mine with some organic raisins.

  1. We do apple cinnamon porridge here, and it's super easy. Applesauce with enough almond butter to thicken it up, cinnamon, and any toppings. We like walnuts and raisins or craisins. My kids didn't like it at first, but it's grown on them. Now 3/4 will usually finish it. I serve it with a breakfast meat to add some protein. I meant to share it with you when you mentioned looking for egg free breakfasts and forgot.
